Alliance 90/The Greens

By 2000, the Alliance 90/The Greens had already been part of the federal government for two years, in coalition with the SPD.

Reliability and leadership without losing the party’s raison d’être was the focus of the campaigns. Their profile had to be strengthened, and within the new context of being part of the government their work needed to shown as transparent and dialogical. These aims formed the brief for the mid-term campaign.

Not just typical green issues were on the agenda: business, finance, consumer protection and foreign policy also had to be communicated successfully.
